Koshirakura, Visiting school
2017
Light weight benches designed to be carried during the yearly maple tree procession in the town of Koshirakura in north of Japan. The benches and stool are made from old pieces of wood, previously used to clad windows in typhoon season. These benches are held together with Japanese dry joints, learnt from the locals, as well as craved pieces of rocks to hold tension joints in place.
