SYMBIOTIC VESSELS

Symbiotic Vessels is a hypothetical project which aims to re-introduce artists into what was once a major center of art in London, Bloomsbury. The inspiration for the project emerged from the water-closet extensions located at the back of the site, a fleet of terraced houses on Marchmont High Street. The geometries and materiality is inspired by Victorian display jars. The glass structure invites the community into its public gardens as a place of contemplation and relaxation as well as an opportunity to perform as a gallery space.
